These are guidelines only. There are certainly players that do not meet the exact guidelines for size and speed that get recruited and play for a particular level of play. However, college coaches go out of their way to look for players that meet their minimums such as size and speed. At the end of the day your film during games is more important the these guidelines… so ball out during games and leave nothing on the field.
